Improving network resilience and maintaining mountain infrastructure

In mountainous areas, energy networks (gas, water, electricity), telecommunications networks (fiber optic, wireless, 4G, 5G), and transport infrastructures (railways, roads) are essential for daily life, population safety, and economic development. Subject to significant natural constraints, aging equipment, and the impacts of climate change, these networks require particularly high investment and maintenance costs.

This roundtable will address the challenges of network resilience and the sustainability of infrastructure in mountain regions, examining financing models, risk anticipation strategies, and the technical and organizational solutions suited to these specific territories.
